We were created in February of 2007 byTim Phelan and Erik Hansen, as a "crateless" daycare facility for dogs. We currently offer overnight boarding, Basic Obedience training and dog baths & brushing as well.
We have one of the largest indoor-outdoor facilities in Hartford County and have the capacity for 30 dogs.

Tim is the Owner and Operator of Free Range Dog Containment which has been in business for over 10 years. He is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and is a certified dog trainer.
Erik is the Manager of Free Range Doggy Daycare and  Owner of Eastbury Inspection Services. He has owned, trained and bred gun dogs & Field Trial dogs for over 18 years. Erik's simple training methods, calm gentle manner and love of dogs works wonders on every dog that frequents our facility.
Jill Sivo is the Owner of her Personal Dog Walking/ Pet Sitting Service. Jill always has a smile on her face and her easy-going nature and love for animals has every dog anxious for a game of toss.
Robert P. Cotthaus, D.V.M. is with the Glastonbury Animal Hospital at 55 Grove Street in the Glastonbury Center. Dr Cotthaus is our emergency veterinarian  with whom we have a strong, sound relationship. In the event that your dog would need emergency treatment & we were unable to contact you by phone, pager or Email, Dr Cotthaus would be relied upon to evaluate & treat your dog if necessary.
